Air Dry Clay, Tree Bark, Metal Wire, Tissue, Foam

This piece is a sculpture lamb head I created out of foam and clay. I got inspiration from the movie Silence of the Lamb, which gave me another perspective to view death and humanity. I am fascinated by lambs because, in Christianity, the lamb represents Christ's both suffering and living; it is the quintessential sacrificial animal and may also symbolize gentleness, innocence, and purity, however, there’s the black lamb, which is completely the opposite of regular lamb – evilness. The lamb I sculpture can’t speak, yet it also is telling its unfathomable personality. Light and darkness are often just a thought away, so is it heaven or hell?
