In this painting, I started with the idea of the pressure from people's expectancies. The lambs are representing the people around them, facing toward the face, holding the expectation. The face is tearing apart, from left to right, symbolizing a process from avoiding all the pressures to accepting them.

I used acrylic paint on the white canvas. I explored wet and dry paint to create the texture and movement of the hair. I also used a paper tower to smudge the paint, trying to create the texture of the wool.
